ETERNAL GRAY Part Ways With Singer, Complete New EP

April 10, 2004

Israeli death metallers ETERNAL GRAY have parted ways with vocalist/guitarist Eyal Glottman due to "personal reasons." "We wish him luck and success in the future," the band write on their web site.

In other news, ETERNAL GRAY will be releasing a special EP entitled "Deeds of Hate" in early July. "This will be a unique piece of ETERNAL GRAY which will be released in 1,000 hand-numbered copies only!" the group write. " 'Deeds Of Hate' includes five NEW tracks, in which only one of them will appear in 'Your Gods, My Enemies' — the full-length album scheduled to early 2005. 'Deeds Of Hate' is the only way you can find those songs!

"Recordings went awesome and this time we upgraded to seven-string guitars, so it sounds much heavier. The songs are definitely faster and heavier than 'Kindless' [2002] and the sound is much more sharp and dark."

Recorded at Groove Studios in Israel with producer Dory Bar-Or for Dark D.Vision, "Deeds of Hate" features the following lineup:

Roy Hen: Drums
Gil Ben-Ya'akov: Bass Guitar
Dory Bar-Or: Guitars, Keyboards
